To be met in our terrible time of waiting is a great mercy. Thank you, Mark, for this one. Especially as we go into the coming days. A poem is also a mercy.
Thank you, Ann. I always find myself struggling with how to look at the Resurrection without losing the newness of it … and this year, it’s the oldness of it that is striking me. The now of Christ is as ancient as the not yet of the new creation.

Have mercy.
Thank you for reading, Melissa.
Goodness and mercy. Love those last lines “while we wait, break not yet’s teeth/ meet us in the now of our high priest.”
I’m glad those landed for you, Brit. Thanks for reading!
Mark, this poem (as ever) is so rich and beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you for reading, Margaret Ann.
Very moving.
Thank you, Jenna.
“Meet us in the now of our high priest” - electric. And profound
Maranatha! Thanks for reading, Claire.
Maranatha
May it be so!
"Meet us in the now of our high priest..." Glorious. Let this "now" be our tangible home, where all God's promises are yes and amen in our Risen Lord.
May it be so! That perspective falls off so easily throughout our days of facing entropy and anxiety. Thanks for reading, Abigail.
